Weddings are often just as much about the lead up as they are about the actual day and the pre-wedding events can be just as much fun (and require just as much organisation) as your big wedding day.

Therefore, to add a bit of glamour as well as organisation, to the pre-wedding events, have your family, friends and bridal party fitted out with wedding t-shirts. There are many wedding companies which can have these shirts made up for you but it can also be a fun project for the bride and groom to do together, or a special gift from the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Wedding t-shirts are a simple idea for everyone to get to know each other before the craziness of the wedding day. They simply have the role of each person written on the front or back of the shirt, for example ‘bride to be’, ‘flower girl’, ‘maid of honour’.

The wedding t-shirts ensure that everyone feels included in the celebrations of the day and the events leading up to the wedding. The younger family members such as the flower girl and the page boy will also feel like little stars as they show off their special position in the wedding party.

You can match the t-shirts to the colours of the wedding or you can have the bride’s friends and family in pink shirts and the groom’s friends and family in blue shirts. You can also either write on the shirts in craft paints or even stick diamantes onto the shirts to spell out the roles.

You may also want to consider making the wedding t-shirts out of button up shirts so that everyone can wear them while having their hair and makeup done and they don’t have to worry about messing it up when they get changed.
